EEUU: CONFERENCIA SOBRE SUSTENTABILIDAD EN TEXTILES

La industria textil es una de las que mayores problemas de sustentabilidad presenta. Los textiles orgánicos aseguran el máximo de sustentabilidad, pero hay otros métodos productivos que, si bien no son tan satisfactorios como el procesado orgánico, tienen por objeto mejorar la sustentabilidad de los procesos.

La próxima conferencia del TEXTILE EXCHANGE tedrá lugar en Portland, Oregon (EEUU) del 10 al 12 de Noviembre del 2014. Para un adelanto de lo que se pueded esperar de la 2014 Textile Sustainability Conference se puede bajar una copia del Diario de la Conferencia del año pasado (en Ingl{es) clickeando here.
Para apalancar la experiencia de los participantes que traen a la conferencia cada año, Textile Exchange solicita el aporte de los principales tópicos que la industria considera críticos. Se invita a sugerir tópicos y/o disertantes que podrían hacer un aporte positivo al mundo de los textiles.
La conferencia del 2014 estará segmentada en cuatro áreas clave de tópicos: Diseño y Materiales; Química y Procesado; Industria e Integridad de Producto; y el Panorama de la Industria y Temas Emergentes. Textile industry is among the ones that more sustainability problems present. Organic textiles guarantee a maximum of sustainability, but there are other production methods that, even not as satisfactory as organic processing, they pursue improvements in the sustainability of textile processes.

To leverage the experience and expertise brought by conference attendees each year, Textile Exchange requests help in ensuring that topics are addressed that the industry finds critical. They invite to submit suggestions for topics and/or speakers that, if addressed, could make a positive and significant difference in the world of textiles.
The 2014 conference will be segmented into four key topic areas: Design and Materials; Chemistry and Processing; Industry and Product Integrity; The Big Picture / Emerging Issues.
