NUEVA ETIQUETA EN DEFENSA DE LAS ABEJAS

El grave problema de la declinación de las abejas que amenaza a la
polinización y, por ende, a la producción frutícola y hortal, mueve a la
creación de un rotulado de productos „Amigables a las Abejas“ para alimentos
cuya producción no pone en peligro a la apicultura.

La nueva etiquea europea Bee Friendly (Amigable a las Abejas) develada
por L'Union national de l'apiculture française
(Unaf - Unión Nacional de la Apicultura Francesa) es oficialmente lanzada hoy
en Francia en el Salon
de l'Agriculture en Paris.
Desarrollada por expertos apícolas, en agricultura orgánica y la industria agroalimentaria, la etiqueta respaldará a las frutas, legumbres y productos lácteos respetuosos de la vida de las abejas. La gestión de la nueva etiqueta será confiada a la Association Bee Friendly (Asociación Amigable a las Abejas) creada en el 2011 por tres organismos apícolas de Fracia, Italia y Europa.
Desarrollada por expertos apícolas, en agricultura orgánica y la industria agroalimentaria, la etiqueta respaldará a las frutas, legumbres y productos lácteos respetuosos de la vida de las abejas. La gestión de la nueva etiqueta será confiada a la Association Bee Friendly (Asociación Amigable a las Abejas) creada en el 2011 por tres organismos apícolas de Fracia, Italia y Europa.
Las normas comprenden 27 criterios que serán
controlados por un organismo de certificación independiente. Incluyen, entre
otras cosas, exigencias acerca del uso de los pesticidas, prohibición de uso de
transgénicos, y establecimiento de zonas de preservación de la biodiversidad.

BEES AND AGRICULTURE
The serious problem of the death of bees that threatens pollination and

The new European „Bee Friendly“ label is presented today by L'Union
national de l'apiculture française (Unaf – French Apiculture National
Union) in the Salon de l'Agriculture
in Paris.
Developed by bee experts, organic farmers and the agrifood industry, the new label acknowledges fruits, vegetables and dairy products that respect bees‘ life. Management of the new label will be trusted to the Bee Friendly Association that was created in 2011 by three beekeeping organisms from France, Italy and the European Union.
