recurre a redes sociales, podcasts y mensajes de texto
PSU Educarchile.
[SANTIAGO] El sitio web chileno PSU Educarchile, que
ayuda a los estudiantes a preparar la prueba de ingreso a la universidad, fue
el único proyecto latinoamericano galardonado (27 de septiembre) con uno de los
seis premios WISE Awards 2012, que entrega anualmente la Fundación Qatar para
distinguir la innovación en educación.
PSU Educarchile es una plataforma en línea gratuita e interactiva que permite a estudiantes de últimos años de educación secundaria preparar la Prueba de Selección Universitaria (PSU), un examen de lenguaje, matemáticas, ciencias y ciencias sociales, prerrequisito para ingresar a las universidades chilenas.
PSU Educarchile es una plataforma en línea gratuita e interactiva que permite a estudiantes de últimos años de educación secundaria preparar la Prueba de Selección Universitaria (PSU), un examen de lenguaje, matemáticas, ciencias y ciencias sociales, prerrequisito para ingresar a las universidades chilenas.
La plataforma — que se financia con
fondos públicos, privados y filantrópicos— es una alternativa a estos centros
pagados, porque permite preparar la prueba empleando herramientas que incluyen
un sitio web con más de 57 mil preguntas de ensayo, podcasts con contenidos del
examen y mensajes de texto a celulares. Además, ofrece acompañamiento a través
de Facebook y Twitter. El portal recibe 120.000 visitas individuales al mes
desde todo el país.
Los otros cinco ganadores de los
premios WISE 2012 (World Innovation Summit for Education) son de Bangladesh,
Camboya, Dinamarca, EE.UU. e India. Cada proyecto recibirá US$20.000, durante
la Cumbre Anual de WISE, que se realizará en noviembre en Qatar.

[SANTIAGO] The Chilean website PSU Educarchile, that
helps students to prepare the admission test to universities was the only Latin
American Project that won one of the 27 WISE Awards 2012, granted annually by te Quatar Foundation to distinguish
innovation in education.
PSU Educarchile is a free and interactive on-line platform that helps students of the last years of highschool to prepare the University Selection Test (PSU), an exam in language, mathematics, sciences and social sciences, prerequisite to Access Chilean universities.

material of the test, and text messages to cellphones. Furthermore, offers
support through Facebook and Twitter. The portal receives 120,000 individual
visits a month from all over the country.
The other
five winners of the prizes WISE 2012 (World Innovation Summit for Education) are
Bangladesh, Cambodia, Denmark, USA and India. Each Project will receive US$
20,000 during the WISE Annual Summit that will take place in November in Qatar.
