CARRIL SOLAR PARA BICICLETAS
EL CARRIL DE BICICLETAS SOLAR FUNCIONÓ A LA PERFECCIÓN – SolaRoad (Boletín de Noticias Energías Renovables, Feb. 4, 2016) (ENGLISH VERSION BELOW:
El SolaRoad, fue el primer carril de bicicletas solar del mundo, hoy, a un
año en pleno funcionamiento, los resultados han sido mejores de lo esperado.
El SolaRoad se encuentra en la ciudad holandesa de Krommenie, y mide
aproximadamente unos 70 metros de longitud. Durante 12 meses los ciudadanos
locales han usado el carril de bicicleta solar sin ningún inconveniente y ha
generado 70 kWh por cada metro cuadrado (suficiente energía para abastecer a 3
hogares).
Este primer carril, fue la prueba final antes de que decidan instalar
carriles de bicicletas solares por todo el país. Aunque faltan algunas pruebas
y datos que revisar, los fabricantes pueden decir que funciona, y muy bien
Hay que tomar en cuenta lo siguiente…
Si nos
ponemos a hacer cuentas y sabemos que el carril solar de pruebas costó 3
millones de euros, y que en un año ha generado 9.800 kWh de electricidad,
quiere decir que cada kWh ha sido retribuido a 0,19 euros, lo que deja un
retorno final de 1.862 euros.
Considero
que es poco dinero de retorno para 12 meses, pero si se hace a gran escala,
todo sería mucho más barato y de esta forma creen poder hacerlos rentables,
aparte de los beneficios medioambientales.
¿Cómo es el carril de bicicletas
solar?
Son unos
módulos de hormigón de 2,5 x 3,5 m donde se instalan celdas
solaresde silicio cristalino, con una capa superior de vidrio
templado transporte de un centímetro de grosor.

SOLAR BICYCLE LANE WORKED PERFECTLY – SolaRoad (Boletín

SOLAR ENERGY:
The SolaRoad was the first solar energy bicycle lane
in the world. Today, functioning for one year, results were better that
expected.
The SolaRoad is located in the Dutch city of Krommenie,
and is approximately 70 meters long. During 12 months the local citizens have
used the solar bcycle lane without any problem generating 70 kWh per square
meter (energy enough to supply three homes).
This first lane was the final trial before deciding to
install solar bicycle lanes in the whole country. Even lacking a few trials and
with some data to review, the producers can say that it functions very well.
It must be considered
that…
Making calculations we know that the trial solar lane costed
3 million euros, and that in a year it have generated 9.800 kWh; that is, that each
kWh costed 0,19 euros, or a final return of 1.862 euros. It is not too much return for 12
months, but if done full scale, everything would be much cheaper and the makers
of the SolaRoad believe that it would be profitable – besides the environmental
benefits.
¿How is the solar bicycle lane made?
They are 2,5 x 3,5 m cement modules where crystalline
silica solar cells are installed with a one centimeter
thick tempered transportation glass cover.
