ARGENTINA: EL DESCUBRIMIENTO DE HLB EN MISIONES

SENASA Informó que a pesar de algunos casos positivos detectados
en Misiones, el status sanitario del país no se modifica.
A mediados de Agosto se llevó a cabo un encuentro en Corrientes de la Unidad de Coordinación Interinstitucional (UCI) en el marco del Programa Nacional de Prevención del HLB. En el encuentro en Posadas, Prov. De Misiones, se discutieron diferentes acciones para prevenir la proliferación de la enfermedad en el país, considerando que ya se confirmaron tres casos en el norte de Misiones, en el límite con Brasil.
A mediados de Agosto se llevó a cabo un encuentro en Corrientes de la Unidad de Coordinación Interinstitucional (UCI) en el marco del Programa Nacional de Prevención del HLB. En el encuentro en Posadas, Prov. De Misiones, se discutieron diferentes acciones para prevenir la proliferación de la enfermedad en el país, considerando que ya se confirmaron tres casos en el norte de Misiones, en el límite con Brasil.
Durante
el encuentro el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (SENASA)
informó acerca del progreso del trabajo llevado a cabo en el país y el plan de
contingencia que se está desarrollando en Andresito, área en la que se
detectaron los casos positivos. También se presentó la metodología de monitoreo
y muestreo y los resultados obtenidos hasta el momento en el país.
La Unidad de
Coordinación Interinstitucional (UCI) está compuesta por
provincias con producción citrícola a través de las agencias e instituciones de
la producción, el Ministerio de Agricultura de la Nación, el INTA, el INASE y
el SENASA.

In mid-August, Corrientes attended the meeting of the Coordinación Interinstitucional (UCI), created in the National Programme for the Prevention of HLB. The meeting was held in Posadas, Misiones, during which the different actions to prevent the spread of the disease in the country were discussed; considering that three cases had been already confirmed in the north of Misiones, on the border with Brazil.

During the meeting, the National
Health Service and Food Quality (SENASA), reported the progress of the work
that has been done in the country and the contingency plan that is being
carried out in Andresito, area where the three infected plants were detected.
Also the
working methodology of monitoring and sampling, and the results obtained to
date in all the country were presented.
The Unidad de
Coordinación Interinstitucional (UCI) is composed of the provinces with
citrus production through its agencies and producer institutions, the Ministry
of Agriculture of the Nation, INTA and INASE and SENASA.
