REDUCCIÓN DE ANTIBIÓTICOS

Alemania acordó ayer la reducción del uso de antibióticos en animales a través de la creación de un banco de datos central para controlar la aplicación de los antibióticos en el país y prohibir aquellos que jueguen un papel importante en el tratamiento de enfermedades de personas para evitar que creen resistencia. El gabinete del Gobierno alemán aprobó un presupuesto de 22 millones de euros para el proyecto presentado por la ministra de Agricultura alemana, Ilse Aigner, quien dijo que es una «profunda y ambiciosa» reforma de la ley que regula el empleo de medicamentos en animales.

GERMANY AGREED YESTERDAY TO REDUCE THE USE OF ANTIBIOTICS IN ANIMALS. (Ámbito Financiero, Campo, Sep. 20, 2012)

 Germany agreed yesterday the reduction of the use of antibiotics in animals, creating a central data bank to control the application of antibiotics in the country, prohibiting those that play an important role in the treatment of human sickness to avoid creating resistance. The German Government approved a 22 million euros budget for the project presented by the German Agriculture Minister, Ilse Aigner, who said that it is a “deep and ambicious” reform of the law that regulates the use of medicines in animals.
