Vecinos de la ciudad bonaerense de Alberti, acompañados por ambientalistas, cumplieron ayer la segunda semana de campamento frente a la municipalidad en reclamo por las fumigaciones con agrotóxicos. Según explicaron, en esa ciudad no se cumple un fallo de la Suprema Corte provincial que prohibió las fumigaciones con agrotóxicos a menos de mil metros del casco urbano. El fallo fue emitido el 8 de agosto pasado y avaló un recurso de amparo presentado por una familia de Alberti. El defensor del Pueblo bonaerense, Carlos Bonicatto, convocó a un encuentro entre la intendenta Marta Médici y los manifestantes.

AGAINST SPRAYING IN ALBERTI, PROV. OF BUENOS AIRES (Página1/12 Sociedad, in Agriclipping Apr. 16, 2013)

Citizens of the city of Alberti, Prov. Of Buenos Aires, along with environmentalists camped for the second day in front of the Municipality, complaining for agrotoxic sprayings. It was explained that in that city there is a decision by the provincial Supreme Court  prohibiting agrotoxic sparying at less than a thousand meters of the urban limits. The sentence of Aug. 8, 3012 availed an appeal for legal protection requested by a family resident of Alberti. The town’s public defender, Carlos Bonicatto, convened a meeting between the city Major, Marta Medici, and the protesters.
