APICULTURA ORGÁNICA: EXITOSO PROGRAMA EN FORMOSA, ARGENTINA (La Nación, Campo, Jul.21, 2012)

Aumentó a 590 el número de pequeños y medianos productores que exportan miel participando en el Programa para el Desarrollo Apícola Provincial. Trabajan con 24.000 colmenas produciendo 880 tambores de miel , unos 265.000 kg por año. En la zona oeste de la provincia de Formosa la Asociación de Productores Proape exporta a la Unión Europea con certificación orgánica. Trabajan en forma articulada con INTA, SENASA y otros organismos provinciales y nacionales de promoción de la apicultura a través de cursos, workshops, entrenamientos, etc.

Increased to 590 the number of small and medium beekeepers that produce and export honney. They participate in the Beekeeping Development Provincial Program. They work 24,000 beehives producing 880 drums and some 265,000 kg of honney per year. In the West part of the Province of Formosa (Argentina) the ‘Proape’ Producers Association exports certified organic honney to the European Union. The work coordinate by INTA (National Inst.of Agric.Technology), SENASA (National Service of Agricultural Health), and other provincial and national organisms that conduct courses, workshops, trainings, etc.
