Germany, the organic agricultura surface overcame the million hectares landnark
for the first time.
The German Minister of Agriculture, Ilse Aigner, sees in this the confirmation of a long term tendency, pointing out that “ … the organic market always enjoy following wind”.

In its May
29, 2012, press releas, the Ministry bases its information on the consolidated
figures emitted by the different provinces dor the year 2011. That is, 22,506 farmus
cultivating organically 1,022,718 has. SAU (Useful Agricultural Area), thus, an
increase of 33,106 has. (+3.2%).
Presently,
7.5 % of the German agricultural units, and the 6.1 % of the SAU hectares are
certified organic. Two thirds of these organic farms are located in Southern
Germany (Baviera and Bad-Würtemberg). At the end of 2011, a total of 33,905
produc ers, processors and importers were organically certified.

En Alemania, la superficie agrícola orgánica
pasó, por primera vez, el techo de un millón de hectáreas.
La Ministro Alemana de Agricultura, Ilse Aigner, en ello ve una tendencia que se confirma en el largo plazo, subrayando que “…el mercado orgánico tiene siempre viento en popa”. En su comunicado de prensa del 29 de Mayo ppdo. el Ministerio se apoya sobre las cifras consolidadas informadas por las diferentes provincias para el año 2011. Ellas son de 22.506 granjas que cultivan 1.022.718 has. SAU (Superficie Agrícola Útil) en modo orgánico, es decir, un aumento de 33.016 has. (+3,2%)
Al presente, 7,5% de las explotaciones agrícolas Alemanas, y el 6,1% de las SAU son orgánicas certificadas. Los dos tercios de estas granjas orgánicas están situadas en el Sur de Alemania (Baviera y Baden-Würtenberg). A fines del 2011, había un total de 33.905 productores, elaboradores e importadores estaban certificados orgánicos.
