Germany will oppose any measure from
the European Union that may allow the presence of traces of genetically
modified organisms non apporved as food for humans, said yesterday a speaker
from the German Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Protection. The minister,
Ilse Aigner, would oppose any measure that would end the regulation of zero
tolerance for the non approved GM contents in imports of foods for human
consumption, an official speaker said.

ALEMANIA NO CEDE A LOS TRANSGÉNICOS (Ámbito Financiero, Campo, Jun.12, 2012)
Alemania se opondrá a cualquier medida
de la Unión Europea (UE) que permita la presencia de rastros de organismos
genéticamente modificados (GM) no aprobados en los alimentos para consumo
humano, dijo ayer un portavoz del Ministerio de Agricultura y Protección del
Consumidor alemán. La ministra de Agricultura y Protección del Consumidor de
Alemania, Ilse Aigner, se opondría a cualquier medida que ponga fin a la norma
de tolerancia cero para los contenidos GM no aprobados en las importaciones de
alimentos para consumo humano, señaló un portavoz de la cartera.
